Multi-Tasking

Quite a productive day I have today. Although I am very sleepy I try not to be defeated with it. Earlier this morning I have written at least six opportunities and a few personal entries in my blogs. I have also fed me and my girls, bathed Megan and put her to sleep. Right after she slumber, I went on to do the dusting the furniture in our bedroom as well as the study room, cleaned two sinks in the master bedroom, cleaned the master bathroom as well. I planned of vacuuming two bedrooms and the hallway today but after doing the bathroom, I realized I need to rest so here I am tapping back in my computer..resting for me is finishing off my opportunities... after this I would want to take a nap, hopefully the baby still be sleeping by then.

One Productive Day

I felt so bored this morning that I didn't want to do anything else including writing my tasks. I just set them aside for I cannot force my brain to work when I am not in the mood. What I did was got up from the computer and turned my attention to some of the chores that I'd been meaning to do. I couldn't get around to them the past few days so today I tried to force myself to get them over with.

I vacuumed the study and tidy up Jadyn's bedrooom, vacuumed the hallway as well, cleaned Jadyn's bathroom sink and swept the floor and then went to take a shower. I felt relieved and glad that I've done something worthwhile today. Those are the chores I kept putting on hold due to the fact that I don't have enough energy to do chores these days. I still have not been sleeping so good at night, that is why. Now I am just waiting for my baby girl to wake up, feed her and take a nap once she is back to sleeping again.

Another Dream Came True

Eleven years ago I had this short essay written for my English subject titled "What Will I be Ten Years From Now" and becoming a wife and mother was what I wanted to become. Early on I knew what I wanted in life and as years passed by I became more determined to achieve that very goal I had, marrying a foreigner, having my own family, living in America and have two kids.  I scored 98 out of 100 for that not to be conceited. Too bad I lost the paper, I should have kept it!

I met my husband then my dream has come true, he gave me a beautiful girl, give me that American dream life I dreamed and just four days ago another beautiful girl is born, Megan. All these things used to be just a dream and now it came true and fulfilled. I can't ask for more except seeing my kids grow and marriage to prosper! Thank God for all the goodness/blessings He showered me.

Starting My Chores Early

I have an energy to get my chores started early. I've already watered my potted plants in the front porch and just started my first load of laundry. Better start chores early so I can finish before nap time hits. After doing the bed sheets, a basket full of dirty clothes will follow. It is heaping full right now and I'm hoping I can finish my laundry in one day that of course including the folding process which for me is troublesome going through all the small pieces of clean clothes and socks. That is the dreaded part after washing but there is no one else who can do that other than me.

Aside the chores, I've already written at least two online tasks and one personal entry. Wow what a productive morning I have so far. If I don't get too tired sitting on the computer, I might vacuum the study room... I shall see though if laziness won't strike me later. Anyway, I got all the days I have to clean the entire carpeted floor so no rush.

My American Breakfast

What a nice life I have...instead I cook for the husband on his day off, he's the one cooking for me... wow, how did I get so lucky? Lolz.. shameless me. While he works hard for the family, he cooks his own dinner everyday and on his day off he sometimes cooks my breakfast... this is what I had yesterday morning.... made by my husband and brought it here in my computer!

....... toast bread, fried eggs and melted cheese with pickle! yum!! but hey, this food did not last in my tummy very long.. at 4 o'clock I found myself eating plenty of food with rice again...nyaaaaahahaha..

Some Lazy Mornings

There were days when I woke up I felt so lazy and tired. I wouldn't want to do anything but sit on my computer for an hour before my body can go back to normal. It would take me an hour or two to regain my strength and energy but by the time I feel okay that will be past lunch.

So what I do, in order for my Jadyn to eat her breakfast I would only give her the easiest and quickest fix, yogurt or cereal or peanut wheat bread with peanut butter and fruits like that shown in the picture. Not the typical breakfast we usually have but that is good enough to last until lunch.

Anniversary Dinner Date

As you all know we just celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary yesterday, October 16. We didn't go out last night instead we had Mike- husband's close buddy came over to join us for cook out. While the husband started the coals outside, me and Mike got to sit down and watched our wedding video on t.v. Seeing those young familiar faces of the people dear to me makes me wanna go home right away.

So that was how we celebrated our anniversary. Today, my husband took us out to dinner as post anniversary celebration. He treat me to have some crabs which I like hehehe...here's few of the photos we took...

P.S To those friends and people who greeted us and wished us for more years of our marriage...thank you so much guys. I thank the Lord most of all for He blessed us with fruitful, blissful and wonderful marriage. I am so happy we are strong and in love with other.... I still feel that butterflies in the stomach everytime I look at my husband and still find him so attractive. Looking forward for more years of togetherness, love, one more kid and most of all more patience and understanding for us! Cheeersss!!

Guilty Conscience

I posted something on my FB wall about me not cooking my husband's dinner for how long I don't know and I received ample reactions from people on my list on that. Now I am guilty! While it's true, do I have to shout it out to the world that I am of no use when it comes to taking care of my husband especially when he's home tired from work?

I don't know how we started this set up. All I know is that all I could remember, one time when I was just a newbie here in Uncle Sam, I cooked him dinner and when he got home he didn't eat it right away. He had waited for hours to pass before he could start munching on the food. That somehow disappointed me..from then on I never cooked him his dinner.

And besides, he loves grilling a lot. The thought of sitting outside and wait for the food to be done makes me lazy for I don't wanna go through the hassles of lighting up the coals, wait for it to be ready before I could put the foods in the grill. Since he loves grilled food then he must do it himself. As a result, it is my husband cooking me my dinner instead of me serving my king! And take note, he cooks food even after a ten-hour work shift every other night!

Family Bonding

So nice of my husband for taking us out to the Botanic Garden today. We had a pretty calm walk at the garden today. We didn't do anything except taking a nature walk with our baby which I appreciate so much for I know it feels good to breathe some fresh air, walking at the same bonding with both of them. Nothing is precious than having a good time with my family in a cooler day like today. Here are few of the pictures I took...

.......... getting into the woods...
.....resting for a while by the pond with a fountain..Jadyn was leaking in this picture
...........husband and baby with the 200 year-old pecan tree
and myself and the baby by the pumpkins outside the conservatory

fat burner

Soon I don't have to worry about having this slight fats in my belly for my husband and I both agreed to possibly have another baby. There will be no looking or searching for fat burner on the internet or if I do, I only do it for my friends who asked me for best fat burners that they can use. Poor people struggled so much trying to lose unwanted fats in their body. Back to having another baby, this is something major to think about but thanks to my husband, he is such a nice and easy man to deal with and agreed to me right away when I open up this issue to him last night. I am a few days on my birth control pills, after that I will start my journey to conceiving another blessing.

Quite Satisfied

I have done so much today when it comes to doing my household chores around here. At 5 o'clock I am almost done with my work except that laundry is still running and chicken soup for Jadyn is still cooking but all in all I am satisfied with what I have accomplished. I watered my plants in our front yard, I ironed all 6 pairs of pants of my husband, I put my baby to sleep, I swept the floor, did my dishes, I took a nap and most of all, I emptied my mind by doing all those so then I don't have to keep thinking about those things when I am gonna have enough motivation to do things I ought to do since the past days.

The Magic Of Ordinary Days

This is how we look in ordinary days. We are one small happy family that finds great pleasure just being together as a family doing things around the house. As long as we are healthy and baby is happy, I am cool with it. I am the type of person that is easy to please, having my great family is big enough to celebrate life and thankful to God above. I don't care if the world turns its back on me, as long as my family is with me then that is what matters to me most. Blessed and contented is me, indeed!

.......... could not ask for more.. I have everything I ever wanted!!!

~~ My Thought Of The Day ~~

I am open to expressing my feelings to my husband. Personal or intimate thoughts I have, I can easily burst it out to him.

Amazing! After 5 years of being married to him I still find him attractive, the feelings are constant, never changing, never fading and getting stronger each passing day. The attraction I have for him is the same the very first day I laid my eyes on him in the airport of his first visit in Cebu..until this very moment I am writing this entry.

...and that is exactly what I told him last night just before we head to wonderland...and all he could do is bump me with his elbow... ah I don't know what he was thinkin' all I know is that I was very wide awake when I said all those things to him.... BOW! Drama ra dah!

Suffocating Meh!

What's with my baby's fart, why is it so stinky? I don't feed her unsual foods eh but why why oh why? Everytime she farts, it suffocates me. It's silent yet deadly! I know it when she farts for the air suddenly goes bad, it is so bad that I can't help covering my nose or holding my breath!

Baby ko, have pity on me. Don't kill me yet. I still wanna see you grow and finish your college haha! This baby of mine is unaware how stinky her butt is as if it's nothing to her while I suffer of her fart yet she has the nerve to smile at me after farting. Whattah!

Long Weekend We Had

How I wished I could sleep longer today since it's Tuesday and we don't have to go anywhere. Besides that, it's cloudy and looks like it's gonna rain, good for loooooong snuggling under the blanket eh. Two nights of not having a good sleep definitely turns my day into sour lazy day. There is just too much to think about these days. The house that we're currently working on has a lot of work for both of me and my husband. I felt like I'm crazy thinking whether we can prepare the house within a month period and move in there while the fact we can only see and visit our house every weekend.

Anyways, I will just look forward for the next weekend and be optimistic enough that we can have it cleaned up and rip the old old carpet off and replace it with a new one.

I am tired from our long weekend. First we drove 10 hours last 3 days visiting my father in-law in San Antonio. The following day, we had to start working on our house non-stop. Got only very little rest especially at night. Enough ranting eh! I should go and do my chores!

Under His Desk

.... is where my Jadyn usually play when we, her parents are both busy on each other's computers. Jadyn is an easy baby that she would find a way to entertain herself too while we can't play with her. There are just certain times when we just leave our baby play alone so she'll develop a habit of being independent. She is the only child in this house for now so she should know how to entertain herself. Good baby she is as always, I can't complain anything!

....... just a toy and she is ok with it...
..... looking so small and adorable under her dada's desk..

The Very Day I Have My Braces On

Today I finally have my lifelong dream fulfilled. Again my husband made it happen. I've wished several times over and he granted it all. I will not forget this very day as my braces finally put in my mouth. This is going to be the beginning of a brighter and sweeter smile starting today.

How happy I am to finally be able to smile as wide as I can and not feeling conscious about my crooked teeth. In one and a half years time, I will be wearing my braces and hopefully by then I will have a set of straight teeth. I will no longer envy other people who have very nice teeth because I'm gonna have one in due time.

Thank you so much my husband for granting my wish again, paid in full pa so there'll be no worries of bills coming up in the mailbox!

When Deden Was Sick Photos

These are the shots of my baby when she was sick for 3 days. It's not easy taking care of a sick baby. I feel the pain the most seeing my baby not being able to play, messing up wit things and talking just because she is feeling ill and too weak to do the usual routine she does. Thankfully though that yayay is now gone. I am confident she is now okey and no more fever. Thank You Lord!

...below is of me and my baby in our study room. As you can see I don't look happy in this picture at all. My baby was so sick at the time I took this photo...

.... another photo of my baby being sick in a small emergency room in Cook Children Hospital
.... the last two photos are of her dada at her pedia's clinic, still a little ill-- that was taken yesterday and she wouldn't want to stand on the table..too afraid she might get poked of needle.

My Jadyn Has Recovered

I posted a story as to what happened to my baby last Wednesday in my other blog. You can read the story titled First Seizure Episode so you can follow what had happened to my dear Jadyn. Two days she was battling with really really high fever. She wouldn't want to do anything except clings on me and fell asleep in my arms. That was too tiring because she is heavy but it is ok with me though.

She is my baby and I am here to comfort and care for her. I am so thankful she is now well although I need to force her to eat so she can totally recover from her illness. Earlier today, we went to her little pool in the backyard and she enjoyed the water. The weather cooperated us because it is cooler today and very pleasant to the skin.

Happy 4th Of July Everyone!

For sure most of you guys are excited for the big cook out tomorrow, right? Well, I wish you all a happy 4th of July and may you have a safe celebration of Independence day with your whole family. Tomorrow is another holiday yet ordinary day for us here because my husband is going to work. He's gonna work to provide security at the como! Hmppp I don't even think I have a chance to watch the fireworks display nearby.
However though, it's double money for the family so it's ok with me if he'll be gone for work. I'm just gonna stay in the house and do my farm town lingaw pako. I feel pity for my husband because he is working so hard for the family and yet I'm here padaku sa bangag.
It is not gonna be easy for him tomorrow because the temperature will be another triple digit and he's out there expose to the sun whole day. Hazyyyy time will come that I'll be the one working and he sits in the house for he is retiring in 4 or 5 years.. hopefully!
