Dreams For Our Kids

We do have dreams for our kids. Few of which are for our first born to learn Kung Fu, that's her father's idea and I want her to at least became familiar with any musical instruments such as the keyboards. Growing up so poor, I didn't have a chance to learn anything that has something to do with music. Now that I have children, I want them to be able to explore the world of music and have a talent to be proud of. I would be very happy if Jadyn learns how to play the piano or the keyboard. It would be another big dream come true for me.

Maybe Someday

Maybe someday I will be motivated to take my driving seriously. I would be the happiest person on Earth if I can finally get my driver's license. Even that happens, I would still need to study the map or get more familiar with the roads and streets in this city so I won't get lost. I can use a handheld garmin gps alright, but even if I use it I would still be lost for I probably doesn't know how to follow the directions it says haha! So dumb of me. If we live in the country, I would for sure knows the direction for it wouldn't be too complicated over there for sure.

I Got My New Laptop!

How nice of the husband for buying me a brand new laptop. He took advantage of the Cyber Monday deals at Best Buy online store and he got me this HP Pavilion laptop that I like. Amazing how laptops nowadays has gotten cheaper in price. Four years ago when he bought me my very first laptop which is a Sony VAIO it cost him at least over a thousand dollars. I wonder why laptops now can be bought below $500? The only brand that stays above one thousand USD is the Apple. Why would somebody pay so much money on a laptop while he can buy a lot cheaper by choosing a different brand but works the same as Apple?

Here's a different view of my new toy, so sleek in design, pretty and I love the color. It got so many good reviews in it compared to other models and brands so I believe what my husband got me is a great thing!

A New Tv

We have had this Samsung DLP t.v for five years but we have gotten rid of it because it developed a green screen whenever it is turned on. We had a guy came over to see what the problem is and he said that we need to replace the motherboard and it's gonna cost us a fortune to have it repaired. Right now, that big old t.v is sitting in the hallway, we are thinking to have it repaired someday when we have money. While that would cost us a lot, instead of having it fixed, sometimes we can't help but buy a newer and the latest the same brandsamsung lcd. That would be a good idea but hey wait a minute, we already bought a bigger t.v which is an LG and it's a plasma t.v which we now enjoy watching our shows and movies every night.

Not So Particular With Cellphones

People back home are so particular as to what brand the cellphone you are using. The latest model, the capabilities and features your cellphone has the better, the cooler. For me, I don't mind as to what kind or brand of cellphone I am using as long as I can have something always handy when I need to make those important calls. Whether it be a Motorola Xoom, a Samsung or even just the simplest Nokia phone is fine with me. I am a person that is easy to please, so give me a cellphone and I will be delighted to accept it.

Saying Goodbye To Our Old T.V

It's always sad saying goodbye to things that's been part of our daily lives. Our Samsung t.v that gives us entertainment most of our evenings has developed a green screen for days that is so annoying when I watch my favorite t.v show and out of the blue the screen would turn green making it painful to the eyes and it could be a long 30 minutes before it would turn back to normal. Even Jadyn would scream when it does.

Anyhow, my husband got tired with that so he started looking for a plasma t.v- a used one on craigslist to replace the old one servicing us for five years. He only browsed a few ads on the internet and he found this LG 60 inches plasma t.v that is only a year old since the original owner bought it. That is practically new since it was manufactured last year, to think that we got a $500 saving on the new used tv, we are happy we bought it. It is 4 inches larger than the old one but 4 inches makes a big difference and it is only half an inch thicker but weighs a hundred pounds. Now we are happier, no more green screen t.v for us!

Entertainment At Home

Thanks to my husband for providing a good and comfortable life even though we don't have a lot of money but at least we can have anything we want and can afford to buy what we need. With this being said, he has been a good provider to us and I really am thankful I married him. While a lot of families going out to see a movie in the theater, that can be very costly while we only spend at least 8 dollars a month through Netflex. We choose the movie we want and have them mailed in our mailbox so then we can watch it together at home. 

My husband is a kind of person that is practical at the same time willing to spend money on our home entertainment. We do have our PS3 which serves as the dvd movie player providing us a crystal clear quality picture connected to our component through the use of component video cables which then give us a theater-like movie experience every night. By watching movies at home, it saves us plenty of bucks plus we get to enjoy our family time together with so much privacy in our own home.

Keeping It Sturdy

My computer has been brutally abused by my baby. It's going to be three years old this coming December yet it is still functioning as it should be like when it was new. It survived after three hard falls from my computer table due to Jadyn's negligence. If possible, I would like to use a rackmount computer for this one so the fourth hard drop can be avoided. I don't know what I am going to do without my computer. It is like a part of my body I cannot live without. The use of karaoke machines here in the US and my original country, the Philippines is a source of our entertainment. Filipinos have talent. Most of them are gifted with nice voices. Some became popular internationally and those that haven't discovered yet, they just sing their heart out through the use of these machines that can be bought locally or online. I got one, my husband bought it for me two years ago despite of the fact that I have really bad voice, always out of tune but I still asked him for it because I love to sing for myself and for fun.

Samsung User

My husband is an avid Samsung user. For years he is devoted to buying electronics, appliances, cellphones and other gadgets with specific brand, Samsung that is. Well, he may have seen how this manufacturer make such great products and he appreciates that. Things truly last for long if they are made from companies with good reputation and if the user is taking care of his things. Our t.v. for one is a high definition Samsung, it is quite old, four years old to be exact and it's still working fine except for that very part that was replaced for it wouldn't start up but other than, I see no flaws of this thing as of this moment.

Wii Games

Too many nice toys and nice high technology gadgets in the market nowadays and there is only one thing that I would like to buy if I were to buy something that is worth keeping. I would love to have a wii that includes wii accessories, different wii games that keeps me moving so I could lose this belly fat around me. I hate it. It is because I don't have anything else to do inside the house, I couldn't go for a walk, too hot to go outside during the day. I know I shouldn't have these lame excuses but it's just me. I don't want to force myself in doing things I don't feel like doing.

Nintendo Wii

In three months time, it will be my 27th birthday. Another year older again eh. I can't believe I will be turning 27 for I don't feel like 27 yet. I guess I know what to ask from my husband as a birthday gift eh, I dreamed of owning this Nintendo Wii I kept seeing in t.v commercial for I really want to have a more playful and fun exercise inside the house. I shall see though if he's gonna buy me one like it for my husband just bought ourselves a treadmill and a machine that you can do weight exercises in one machine. I am excited to try it too so I can start working out for my boobs, legs, arms and butt.

We Need One For Our T.V

Right now we don't have a decent t.v stand for our 53 inches t.v. It stands on an old furniture we have and it is a little bit high for us. I really should go ahead and browse for tv stands and see if I can find one that would look best with the t.v. I should be careful too because it's our thing and my husband won't just jump into something that he thinks has a cheap quality and I don't want to be criticized by him so poor when it comes to choosing products to use at home. Anyway, I will just try looking for that very stand so by the time we will finish painting the t.v room it will be here and we'll be comfortable watching our movie every night.
