I Feel Miserable

I haven't had a good sleep 3 nights in a row. Last night was the worst because I only had 2 hours of shallow sleep. I was nauseated, with hoarse throat and stuffy nose. I don't feel good at all, I feel so miserable plus the baby is teething. She is cranky and wouldn't sleep, if she sleeps it would be 15-minute nap since last night.

Poor girl, her lower gum is swelling, looks like two teeth are gonna come out soon. There is no one around to help me with her. I try myself though to attend my sick baby even though I don't feel good. Here's the worst case scenario, I am passing my virus to my baby when I fed her this morning. I had to lick and blow her spoon before I could give it to her to ensure the food is not hot.... Great way of passing my sickness to her, yeah?

Fulfilling Career

Looking at the life I once had while I was still growing up, I couldn't believe I have gone this far now. When I was young, I was full of big dreams, I was full of uncertainties if I could make all those dreams come true. Then a decade later, I realized that I am actually living exactly as I pictured out years back.

I found a wonderful husband, blessed with two beautiful girls and most of all I am happy! I never wanted to be a career woman. I wanted to be a full time mommy and housewife. Yes, I work 24/7 without proper pay but the love and joy I see while taking care of this family is more than what money can pay for. It's awesome!

I can always have a career but that can wait until my kids start schooling or when they are old enough to take care of themselves. For now, I must stay as I am right now and for a couple of years before I send myself to school again. Honestly, I missed school so bad but hey I have the most fulfilling career right now that nothing can ever top it!

Multi-Tasking

Quite a productive day I have today. Although I am very sleepy I try not to be defeated with it. Earlier this morning I have written at least six opportunities and a few personal entries in my blogs. I have also fed me and my girls, bathed Megan and put her to sleep. Right after she slumber, I went on to do the dusting the furniture in our bedroom as well as the study room, cleaned two sinks in the master bedroom, cleaned the master bathroom as well. I planned of vacuuming two bedrooms and the hallway today but after doing the bathroom, I realized I need to rest so here I am tapping back in my computer..resting for me is finishing off my opportunities... after this I would want to take a nap, hopefully the baby still be sleeping by then.

Our 2 Month-Old Babies

It is amazing having these two little girls of ours who are 3 years apart from each other. Good enough we took pictures of our first born month by month during her time because now that she is three years old we got plenty of photos to compare to our Megan's development. Jadyn when she was 2 months, she was rounder and chunkier especially the cheeks...whereas Megan, she is oval-shaped but cheeks are not chunky as Jadyn's... both are pretty!

Photos below are just few of the examples I have where I can get to compare the two babies in the same age how big they got at age 2 months.

...... above photo is our first born Jadyn at 2 months and 8 days...she wore a pair of yellow pants and top, a white headband, and cute little yellow and pink shoes..... and below is our second girl Megan who happened to be 2 months and 9 days last days ago sitting in the same spot of the bed where I took a photo of her big sister before. Unfortunately, I don't have Jadyn's clothes above anymore... Megan could've wear them and take picture of her in the same clothes... the only thing left are the shoes as you can see they have the same shoes in these photos.

Look Alike Because They Are Sisters

Can you tell who is who? I won't tell you to get you puzzled lolz. These are photos of my two girls when they are about the same age. Interestingly, I found these two babies of mine look alike as babies although the second born looks more like her Grandpa. But there are angles in their photographs that you will have a hard time pointing who is who.

 

One Productive Day

I felt so bored this morning that I didn't want to do anything else including writing my tasks. I just set them aside for I cannot force my brain to work when I am not in the mood. What I did was got up from the computer and turned my attention to some of the chores that I'd been meaning to do. I couldn't get around to them the past few days so today I tried to force myself to get them over with.

I vacuumed the study and tidy up Jadyn's bedrooom, vacuumed the hallway as well, cleaned Jadyn's bathroom sink and swept the floor and then went to take a shower. I felt relieved and glad that I've done something worthwhile today. Those are the chores I kept putting on hold due to the fact that I don't have enough energy to do chores these days. I still have not been sleeping so good at night, that is why. Now I am just waiting for my baby girl to wake up, feed her and take a nap once she is back to sleeping again.

A Much Better Day

Today is a much better day compared yesterday. It was awful yesterday for Megan didn't want to be laid down alone in bed or even in her swing or bouncer. I think she had a lot of gas in her belly that made her uncomfortable throughout the day. As I was getting very tired plus my "piang" in the lower back nisuol made my day even harder. I am glad the baby slept good last night as well as today that enables me to do my online tasks and relax a little bit. Wow an hour nap in the afternoon makes a difference. It actually made me feel better and a bit happier.

Second Newborn Screen

We had an early day. At 8:30 in the morning we were already at my babies' Pedia for Megan's another two-week check up. Getting up early sucks but it sure does make our day longer. Besides, going out early means we don't have to be sweaty for the temperature isn't that hot yet. In fact, I was thankful we went out early because I almost forgot that it feels like to be out in the sun in the morning.

After Pedia's appointment we headed directly to where Megan was born (just literally across the street from Fort Worth Pediatrics) for her second newborn screening. It wasn't easy for her or for us for she was being poked with needle in her cute little foot. As parents, seeing our baby in pain just hurt a lot but it was necessary to make sure things are good and alright.

Pretty Sisters

I love how my Jadyn treat her little sister. She treats her like a big sister should do. She even say she loves her baby sister Megan because she's cute! How cool for a three-year old girl to say things like that. 

I really do believe my girls are pretty, don't object for they are my children! I don't care what other people say, as for me I find my girls to be the prettiest and so precious! Not only they're pretty but good babies as well especially the big girl Jadyn. She is mommy's little helper.

About The Same Age

Photos of my babies about the same age using the same bouncer. Luckily I did not get rid all my Jadyn's stuff from birth to present so the second girl can use them all. Save us money from buying the same things. Here are my cuties, bald and a lot of hair... their head is the only thing you can distinguish who is who.

After 16 Days....

It's been 16 days have passed since Megan came into this world and I am happy. I get to kiss her every minute although I don't get to sleep 8 hours every night but the price is all worth it. On the other hand, I am losing my belly fast at least that is what I notice. I am breastfeeding my baby maybe that helps a lot too as what they say. Even if I still had my bulging belly that is something I am not worried because I know in the long run I will lose it just like when I had my Jadyn. Yes 16 days have passed and I don't have much baby fat to lose except in the abdomen area... It will just need a couple of crunches and other ab exercise then then it will go away... and one more thing, I have to work on kegel exercise to strengthen my pelvic muscles to avoid incontinence and I'm all good.

They Are My Pride

Thank God for my cute precious little girls. They are my pride and my joy. Mommy and daddy's little angels. Big sister Jadyn being so good at her little sister, she feels absolutely no jealousy towards Megan. She looks after her and she even help her mommy in her small way. Megan on the other hand, the pretty and easy (well, Jadyn too when she was a baby) baby is quiet and would just sleep all day long. She'd only cry if she needs to be fed or need to be changed a diaper. 

How lucky I am to have these little girls to take care of, to watch them grow and most of all to love them with all my heart! Thank You, Lord! I am so blessed with precious beautiful girls; Jadyn and Megan!

She Is A Week Old

Amazing how days gone by so quickly. Our second Princess has turned one week old yesterday at ten forty three in the morning. Yes, she is that young... that also means that it's been a week I've been losing my sleep at night. I don't know how long is this going to last but I am hoping that the baby will learn to sleep by herself pretty soon. 

But anyways, I receive ample amount of compliments when I posted some photos of my little girl on Facebook. Some say she looks like her grandfather, most people commented that she got prominent nose which I agree. Its shape is different than her big sister.

Fun Under The Sprinkler

It's the 14h day we hit triple digit temperature. It's seriously hot here, I tell you. In order to beat the summer heat, as we water our yard, I let my child go out there and enjoy the fun that water comes out from our manual sprinkler. I let her experience how it is playing with water while she is still a child. Someday she'll remember doing it as part of her happy memory in her childhood just like I do, though my experience was way too different than hers.

When it rains, we managed to go out with all the neighbors' kids my age to play in the rain no matter how cold we were we didn't mind it as long as we enjoyed the water. That was part of my childhood I can never forget and honestly, I missed playing under the rain.

Some Lazy Mornings

There were days when I woke up I felt so lazy and tired. I wouldn't want to do anything but sit on my computer for an hour before my body can go back to normal. It would take me an hour or two to regain my strength and energy but by the time I feel okay that will be past lunch.

So what I do, in order for my Jadyn to eat her breakfast I would only give her the easiest and quickest fix, yogurt or cereal or peanut wheat bread with peanut butter and fruits like that shown in the picture. Not the typical breakfast we usually have but that is good enough to last until lunch.

Her American Breakfast

I somehow find it funny for my big Princess to ask a lot of foods in one meal. When she was two years old, I was having trouble feeding her for she just didn't have a good appetite plus she was very picky. Everything I gave to her was declined but lately she is the one asking for food. Sometimes she would utter "mommy, give me fish, buwad and rice and egg and hipon". Other times like this morning, she asked me for an American breakfast that include bacon, egg, rice fish and other stuff but I only gave her two things.

I chose to give her wheat bread with peanut butter in and fried crispy bacon. They are easy to prepare and she loves them. I am here trying to do my opportunities so a quick breakfast like bread and bacon help a lot plus the kid had a great time munching on them.

Our Little Cutiepie

Jadyn nowadays just know how to strike a pose whenever she is being told by her mother to make a pose. I am glad she is cooperating with me hehe. It's with my great pleasure taking a lot of photos of my little kid especially when she is all pink.

Just look at her in pink hat, glasses, shirt, leggings and slippers, isn't she cute? She just look like a local tourist ehhhhhhhh.... Hmm I wish to make another baby girl just like her so good all the time so she can have someone to play with besides the dog.

On Diaper And Youtube

Where else can you find a baby who at two years old already knows how to browse for videos on youtube? Don't get me wrong, she only browse cartoons like mickey mouse and blues clues on there. That is my Jadyn, when bored, she gets on her or my computer and do youtubing ON DIAPER!

I took this photo on the left when we were in San Antonio, it was hot down there that is why she only wore diaper. But it's cute I think.

Latest Photos of My Little Granny

In case you are wondering who little granny is, she's my Jadyn who was born yesterday and now became a granny just because she loves wearing her dada's eyeglasses. I don't like her doing it but sometimes she is too stubborn to be stopped from ruining her eyes. Little granny is only 2 years old yet she looks in the 60s already.

The Magic Of Ordinary Days

This is how we look in ordinary days. We are one small happy family that finds great pleasure just being together as a family doing things around the house. As long as we are healthy and baby is happy, I am cool with it. I am the type of person that is easy to please, having my great family is big enough to celebrate life and thankful to God above. I don't care if the world turns its back on me, as long as my family is with me then that is what matters to me most. Blessed and contented is me, indeed!
