Movies and Other Good Shows

What could be better if you have something to entertain you at home while on day off or just relaxing in your couch through watching real good movies or other good shows on Satellite TV? With all the numerous programs that a good Satellite TV provides you, for sure there will be no dull moments at home for you. For instance, watching those crime scene series is just so fun especially if your partner or husband at home likes watching them too.

As for me, we don't have it although we have TiVo but programs shown there are limited. Better than nothing though. For now I must be content of what we have, anyway, I can live a day without those superb movies that are shown on satellite T.V. Who knows someday we might get a subscription from them to experience that complete entertainment and excitement that most people are watching.

DIY napkin rings for my apartment

Anyone who knows me probably knows that I live in a really bad looking apartment. But for all the money that I save on rent, I like to use it to put back into my place and make it look really spectacular. I love to entertain in my apartment and I think that my friends like to come over because I live by myself and have the space for it.

I thought that one of the things that would really help pull my apartment together even more and make it look like a real grown up works there is to put together some matching and chic looking place settings for my dining table. But I wanted to DIY them so I looked up some ways I could do that with my CLEARINTERNET. Even though I put that money I save on rent back into my decor, I don't like to spend more than I need to on it.

But I think that any good place setting isn't complete without some coordinating napkin rings. So I bought some jewelry wire on clearance, along with a big box full of beads that I'm stringing onto the wire. I think it's going to look really eclectic and neat.

Gigantic And Small Ferris Wheels

These are two different Ferris Wheel photos. One below I took in Opon Carnival. This one is not so sophisticated,  fast-moving and small Ferris Wheel. It operates only during night time and has colorful lights. While the second picture was taken in State Fair of Texas in Dallas fairground. You see the big difference between the two wheels. The one we have in Texas is newer with strong foundation, very slow-moving wheel, a huge one and more attractive to look at than what they have in Opon. Despite of the differences, kids love riding in a Ferris Wheel no matter what the size is.

Carried Away

I almost forgot how calming and soothing it is to listen to the music I ever liked, ballad/pop songs! It has been quite a while since I have not heard any music at all. Right at this hour, I am on my husband's computer which has a real nice and loud speakers that gives me a good music. This is what I am up to at this very minute, listening to music on yahoo messenger and oh I am so carried away of what ym's playing. Source Of Entertainment

The use of karaoke machines here in the US and my original country, the Philippines is a source of our entertainment. Filipinos have talent. Most of them are gifted with nice voices. Some became popular internationally and those that haven't discovered yet, they just sing their heart out through the use of these machines that can be bought locally or online. I got one, my husband bought it for me two years ago despite of the fact that I have really bad voice, always out of tune but I still asked him for it because I love to sing for myself and for fun.

Orlando vacay

There are just so many things you can do in a warm sunny state like Florida. I so dream of seeing the place myself and try to at least fulfill my dream Orlando vacation, visit the Disneyland or get plenty of sun in the beach. Anything that can be done in a warm weather will be good to me. I don't care what kind of activities we are going to do as long as I can escape from our house and see nice places will be an ultimate fulfillment of my desire to at least have a quick vacation... someday..somehow.. God will hear my wishes.

How cool it would be if me and my family will be able to escape the cold weather of Texas for a while. waiting for that very day

With temperatures getting so bad lately all I could think of is going to a place somewhere warmer than Texas. That very place is probably Florida but I have been hearing on the news that they could also get in the 20s sometimes but I think that isn't permanent though. I so long to be able to have orlando vacations in the future. When is that going to happen? Nobody knows when but as long as there is life, there is hope. Perhaps, my husband will bring me to Florida someday when he decides to visit his mother and dragging us along with him in the Sunshine state.

I Wanna Go Home

This song "Home" by Michael Buble really catches my emotion right now. It's December the 1st and not long from now, it will be Christmas. The more I think of it coming, the more the lonelier I get. I wanna go home this Christmas ok?

I hate to think, hear, watch music and videos that has something to do with Christmas becauseeeeeee it just makes me sicker! Hohohoho I long to experience the Noche Buena and fireworks at midnight again for once in my life. Four years not being able to hear firecrackers is so deafening to me that I wanna go home right away, can you hear me? I wannaaaa go home!!!

Farming Even In My Dreams

Duh I'm now having a hard time putting myself to sleep easily because my mind just choose to be awake when my eyes are ready to shut off. It will take me at least 30 minutes of trying to forget the real world that I so hate. Unlike before, as soon I landed my body on to the bed, in just a matter of minutes I could already be in a dreamland and having fun time there.

Worse is that I even dream of the vast land of grapes to be harvested. I am asking myself if FARM TOWN game will do any good to me? Yes, it keeps me very busy most of the days but is it worth to be staying late at night? I can see that people who are in to this game are also going to bed so late.

Honestly, I feel guilty about spending so much time in the computer and less time for my chores and family. Damn it's so addicting. I'm on the level 20 at this moment that is probably why I am an addict. I just hope that I'll slow down when I reach to the last level of getting the last piece and the biggest farm land.

We watched this animated movie the other night and it is one of the movies that I love since the incredibles. It is suitable for the whole family especially kids of all ages. Even our baby never turned her head away from the t.v once the movie had started. I must say, she loves dog and Bolt just caught her attention and finished watching the entire movie until the end. Bolt is now available on dvd so if you wanna watch it, just rent it at your favorite movie store or at Red Box.

VALKYRIE by Tom Cruise

Wow here's a new movie starred by Tom Cruise, the favorite action hero of all time. I am not a big fan of his but I like his movies. This new movie will be another fun and action movie to look forward to seeing because it's about history and full of action. I am pretty sure my husband gonna love this. Valkyrie is a 2008 historical thriller film directed by Bryan Singer and starring Tom Cruise. The film is based on the 20 July plot of 1944 of German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and marks the re-teaming of Singer and producer/screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie. Cruise will portray the leader of the plot, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg.
Cruise's casting caused controversy among German politicians and members of Stauffenberg's family due to the actor's practice of Scientology, though German newspapers and filmmakers gave support to the film to spread global awareness of von Stauffenberg's attempted plot. The filmmakers of Valkyrie initially had difficulty setting up filming locations in Germany, but they were later given leeway to film in locations pertaining to the film's story, such as Berlin's historic Bendlerblock.
The release date for Valkyrie has changed numerous times, including a brief move to February 14, 2009. When the studio reported a positive test screening, the film's release was moved up to December 26, 2008.

Whoever made this movie, there is only one thing I can say about his creation, it's dumb and silly movie. I hate it when we wrongly chose a movie that is good for 5 years old kids. This movie is a good example of a silly movie. You get to watch it so you will know what I'm talking about here.

The Transporter 3

Another movie starred by my favorite action hero is coming out November the 26th. I am sure many movie hungry are waiting to watch this movie for you know him he's very good in all his movies. I am the biggest fan of Jason Statham ever and I so look forward to watching his movie with my husband.

Jason Statham is back in the third outing of 'The Transporter'. This time he's hired by a criminal mastermind to go on a mission to deliver a 'package'. With Frank Martin now electronically rigged, he must complete his mssion or die!

Crazy Over Rambo

Since I first saw Rambo4,I couldn't get it out in my mind for I really love the movie and the actor himself.I think for me,Sylvester Stallone is the best and that I am now addicted to his movies.

I was quite happy when my husband told me that Rambo has part 1 2 and 3 so I looked for a way to watch them until one time I mentioned about it to Annie.Weewww huh so fortunate of me because her husband has a collection of the movie and yayy I got to watch Rambo 1-3 for free because my husband was gonna rent them if Annie did not offer to lend me their movie.

Now This Is What Good Looking To Me

I am picky when it comes to looking at good faces especially to men.Before I got here,I used to think that almost all American men were handsome! But now,I noticed that they actually have plain and almost have the same faces just like everybody else. I could hardly find or see a white guy that can pass my criteria to be considered as HANDSOME or GOOD LOOKING(husband is the exception for he truly is a handsome guy to my eyes).

I just don't admire hollywood actors easily because for me,they're nothing but plain people.I know what good looking is and I seldom see them.Adam Sandler is handsome(he's one of my idols,if you don't know it) and the popular Chris Evans who played the Human Torch in the 2005 comic book adaptation Fantastic Four.
