Another Dream Came True

Eleven years ago I had this short essay written for my English subject titled "What Will I be Ten Years From Now" and becoming a wife and mother was what I wanted to become. Early on I knew what I wanted in life and as years passed by I became more determined to achieve that very goal I had, marrying a foreigner, having my own family, living in America and have two kids.  I scored 98 out of 100 for that not to be conceited. Too bad I lost the paper, I should have kept it!

I met my husband then my dream has come true, he gave me a beautiful girl, give me that American dream life I dreamed and just four days ago another beautiful girl is born, Megan. All these things used to be just a dream and now it came true and fulfilled. I can't ask for more except seeing my kids grow and marriage to prosper! Thank God for all the goodness/blessings He showered me.

A Beautiful Dream

I woke up an hour and a half late this morning for I laid awake at five o'clock in the morning thinking of what my cousin said the night before I went to bed. He was asking if he could visit me here in America and that I should take care of his tickets - hahh? that easy? If he only knew how living is like here in America. Anyway, I refused to give him false hope and I said no for I couldn't afford what he was asking.

That led me to be awake for an hour. And when I went back to sleep I had this very beautiful dream with my family and relatives on my mother's side. We were in the province together, all of us I mean the whole Carael clan gathered at my grandparents' house in Barili. My deceased grandfather was there too.

In my dreams, he was talking to me, he got his face close to me, he was looking happy and had that really smooth face as in no wrinkles nor sadness seen in his face (could be that he is in heaven now?), thank you Lolo for visiting me last night.

Furthermore, in my dreams, the house we were all in was being surrounded by rising green, very clean and fresh water. t'was like a rising river and we were lovin' it for we were able to wash our clothes without walking far from home, that saved us from carrying those heavy buckets of dirty clothes to wash. The water was so big that it rose up to the level of the bamboo floor yet were not frightened, weary or whatsoever. It was like a calm place to be hanging around and take note with my whole family and relatives.

My mother's cousin, Tiya Rosa and her kids were there too but there was no sign of any bitterness or argument. We were just there so happy enjoying each other's company. I asked her where Marissa (the cousin who used to be so dear to me and had argument with a year back-- my relationship with her until now is still unclear as to when we are gonna be fixed again, hopeless..) is and she said that she's in the United States and couldn't make it home.

I was kind of disappointed upon realizing that it was just a dream... just a dream.. just a dream. I didn't want it to end like that but it was already past 9:30 and had to get up. I woke up feeling so great and had that really HUGE smile in my heart knowing that my Lolo is in the right place now and the reunion of the family will soon be realized in real life for I AM COMING HOME later this year!

Lots Of Purses And Highschool Friends!

I woke up kind of early this morning but I don't feel bad at all because I had a good night sleep. Weewww it was so tight that I even drool to my pillow. That is a good sign for me. Before I could wake myself up to reality, I dreamed of being in a mall or in a retailer that sells affordable, nice and stylish handbags. In my dream, I was with 2 other people Matutina and Cathelia Pino (my highschool classmates) messing around with handbags that cost only 10 bucks each.

But wait a minute? I was so sure we were in the Philippines but the monetary unit is in dollar? Shock! Dream is confusing...but anyway, to continue... we were so happy in my dream that we made a big mess at the store and just left it like it was hit by a tornado. We got out of the store and went on to the other store and made a mess again until the saleslady complained how crazy we were.

Too bad though it was just a dream for I really had fun with my old friends. I was really laughing out loud and that I was thankful I was able to bond with them...even just in my dream...

Very Nice Dream

I woke up feeling alright this morning. I stayed in bed longer than my usual waking time. In fact, I wasn't able to kiss goodbye to my husband for he left to work before I could get up. It feels good to just let myself get the rest I deserve and that is sleeping through 9:47. I normally get up as early as 8 in the morning and today I just overslept.

Anyways, I had a very pleasant dream that made me smile upon waking up. I dreamed of being in a paradise. I went to visit my grandparents' place South of Cebu. In their place they have this old old mango tree overlooking the river and that exact place I really wanted to visit again once I have a chance to go the Philippines.

And weeeeeewwwwwww I dreamed about it last night. I felt like it was real. I saw the mango branching out and the big trunk was gone but it was just beautiful, below the tree was like a small garden of long steamed roses planted by my grandfather. With me was my stowaway cousin of over ten years and the other cousin whom I had conflicts with.... just so awesome seeing them in my dream, you know?
