CHARLESTON TRIP

I looked into CLEAR bundle prices and we decided to switch over to them. I made an appointment for early next week. We are going to be out of town at the end of the week, so they have to come out next week. We are actually taking a really fun trip this weekend. We are going to Charleston, South Carolina. They recently put in more terminals in the airport and Southwest flies there, so you can get there for a lot cheaper than you used to be able to. We haven’t been to Charleston in years.

There are a lot of things that I am looking forward to doing. We have rented a condo on King Street, where there are lots of shops and places to eat. We have reservations at one of the top rated places in the country, Husk. It has gotten rave reviews. My husband and I are big foodies. I think that it is what we are looking forward to the most. I think that it is going to be a blast. We also are going to give some of our friends that live there a call and meet up with them for a drink.

I recently got promoted at work, which is awesome. I got a great new title, a nice increase in salary, and the ability to make a much bigger contribution to my company. All in all, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted. The one downside is that I need to relocate to take the new position. While it’s a little exciting being able to pick up and move across the country to Texas with just my husband, it’s also a little terrifying. I won’t know anyone there, and having to leave all of my family and friends has caused more than one near emotional breakdown. I’m trying to look at this like a huge new adventure, and I’m doing my best to stay really excited about the great opportunity. There is one pretty great part to moving to Texas.

My husband has been researching pretty much everything about the state (no, seriously, it is getting a little bit out of control. He knows the state bird. Which I don’t think is necessary, personally and he came across Shop electricity rates TEXAS. It turns out, we’ll be able to shop around for a natural gas provider there and can save a ton of money. Looks like my increase in salary is going to stretch even further. Not bad.

Friend alone

I have a great friend. We have wonderful lunch dates and wonderful talks on the phone. She is always a joy to be around. However this past year has been very hard. Her husband died suddenly and she was left alone. No one plans to be left so suddenly. Obviously, the sudden death was the hardest part, but what she didn’t realize was how hard it is to be alone. The quiet nights make her sad from missing him, but also scared that he can’t protect her. I finally convinced her to get an alarm from SECURITY choice. At least with the alarm, she would start to feel safe again.

It is always so hard to watch someone go through something difficult. You want with all of your strength to make it better and to take away the pain, but sometimes there is nothing you can do. The most I can do is continue to be there for her and continue to keep her company. I just have to stay the friend I have always been and continue to be the friend I would want her to be.

Kids

My sister has two kids. Her son is four years old and her daughter is two years old. I was at the hospital when she had each of them and honestly, it seems like yesterday when they were each born. I do not have kids of my own yet, but time is flying by and my husband and I are starting to think about having kids. I feel like my sister’s kids are my own. I do not get to see them as often as I would like, but I recently decided to Get WildBlue internet so my sister could send me pictures of her kids each week via email. They’re growing up so fast and I can’t imagine how my sister feels watching them grow. Maddie is her daughter’s name and she is such a diva. She will not leave the house unless she is wearing a dress. Matthew is her son’s name and he is pretty rowdy. He has so much energy and loves to play outside. I am planning to go spend a week with them at the end of this month because my sister’s husband will be out of town. I cannot wait to see them.

When I was growing up, I drank soft drinks all of the time. Now I regret that my parents let me do that because I know just how bad they really are for you. Well, I didn't want to get my kids used to that. So instead, I'm trying to raise them by drinking healthier drinks. I let them satisfy their sweet tooth with juice instead. I figure that way at least they're getting fruit servings too! But I thought that it would be fun to fix some refreshing summer drinks for them.

I had no clue what I could make them though, so I went on the Web to see if I could find some good recipes that wouldn't require all that much trouble. While I was doing that, I ran across the site ClearTVBUNDLE.com. After I looked through it some, I decided to switch over our home internet service to it.

I came across some really creative recipes, including a strawberry basil lemonade, which is what I settled on making. I was almost afraid it would be too strange for their taste, but we all really liked it!

Life As We Know It Is Life As I Know It

I have always been a fan of Katherine Heigl ever since I saw here on Grey's Anatomy. It is very possible that I became a fan of that show simply because of her. She's beautiful, and I do not hesitate to see every movie that she is in now that she graces the big screen.

She is currently in one of my favorite On Demand movies right now. It's a cute little movie called Life As We Know It that I have watched over and over on demand with my Cable Television. She's in the movie with Josh Duhamel. He was also on television in a show called Las Vegas. (I didn't really watch his show much, but I know him from other movies.)

They have a good chemistry in the movie, and it really perks you up even though the storyline is a little far fetched. In the movie they have are opposites: Duhamel's character is a insensitive playboy while Heigl is a lovely - but lonely - business owner that is just trying to life her life. They hate each other, but tolerate each other because they are both friends to a married couple.

The married couple dies and leaves the two of them to raise their child. This is an interesting time that quickly becomes comical. I really do love this movie.

DIY napkin rings for my apartment

Anyone who knows me probably knows that I live in a really bad looking apartment. But for all the money that I save on rent, I like to use it to put back into my place and make it look really spectacular. I love to entertain in my apartment and I think that my friends like to come over because I live by myself and have the space for it.

I thought that one of the things that would really help pull my apartment together even more and make it look like a real grown up works there is to put together some matching and chic looking place settings for my dining table. But I wanted to DIY them so I looked up some ways I could do that with my CLEARINTERNET. Even though I put that money I save on rent back into my decor, I don't like to spend more than I need to on it.

But I think that any good place setting isn't complete without some coordinating napkin rings. So I bought some jewelry wire on clearance, along with a big box full of beads that I'm stringing onto the wire. I think it's going to look really eclectic and neat.
