Pampering Myself

I deserve to be pampered. In America, I worked hard, I blog hard in order to save some money for my allowance for my vacation. It is so tiring to do and many times I wanted to quit blogging but I couldn't. Now that I am here in the Philippines, I believe it's time to pamper myself. I treat myself to the salon the other day for a hair/footspa, manicure/pedicure and a haircut. All these only cost me freaking 500 pesos or 11.62 in dollars.

Imagine the package I got and I only paid that much money. Back in America, the cheapest you can spend on your manicure/pedicure would be 20-30 USD at the salon plus tip. And if you know any Filipinas locally who know how to do the thing, you can hire her for a home service for 10 bucks. That is still a lot for someone like me who doesn't work. Since it's cheaper here I can do anything I want especially sa mga pa byoti byoti kay para mo guapa tah!

......chadaaaaaaa! here's me with my new haircut with my suki, Jenny. It's a coincidence to see her there because last time I was at my fave salon, she was in Saudi working...and when I am back in the Philippines she's back too...mao kaabot jud mi, happy pud ko!

Women's Stuff

I don't know how my brothers going to react when they find out that all I got as my presents to them are just t-shirts from Aeropostale and Old Navy and that's it. Most stuff I put in my box are mostly women's including lotions, body mist and an eye wrinkle cream. The women have the most gifts to receive when I am home. I am hoping though that my brother in Miami will shop more of men's stuff so my brothers at home won't think that I am bias. You can't blame me though as I find women's stuff easier to find in stores compared than men and take note, they are usually got the most marked down in prices during sale events.

Mothers Love It

I don't have any big presents to give to my mother this year except those few bottles of lotions, two pieces of rib tanks, deodorant, a wallet and perfume. I could probably buy her this night cream which she might love. I know her, she used to apply this Chinese brand cream on her face before going to bed at night. I am thinking, buying a night cream here and I will just bring it in my luggage this year will be a good idea. I hope she will appreciate it. Despite of us not getting along well when I was still living with her, I still think and concern about her. Of course, what do you expect? She is my mother and that I only have one mother in this world but her.

I'm a member of several different networking sites. Through these sites I have seen thousands of photos of people that are on my list. I wonder if they ever tried to find for exposed acne treatment because I tell you, I have seen really severe acne infection on people's faces. Too bad though they don't really that close to me, that being said I can't tell them where to find the best acne treatment. If I do tell them I'm afraid they get insulted or upset with me.

Facial Cream

I'm a simple person. I don't like wearing make up nor putting some heavy creams in my face because I don't feel the need to have it. I only use mild products and that for me alone serves as my best face cream. I don't have any skin problems in my skin so why would I want use something that I don't need? For some people, using face cream is a must to relieve skin dryness and irritation as well as to cover whatever they have on their face like pimples, freckles and blackheads.

I am a kind of woman who is low maintenance although I tend to be choosy on the products that I would like to use on my skin. I only use gentle products or those natural ones and apply it to my skin. Like for instance, I use lemons to get rid of my skin blemishes and unwanted white heads on the face. It works for me and I have been using it for months now. The result is clearer, smoother, chemical-free skin I have.

However though, I use moisturiser skin care on my face to avoid drying and itchiness as Texas weather is very humid. It helps alot not just during summer but in all types of season.

Every woman is different. There are those that love using branded names and are new on the market. There is no harm with that as long as you know what you are doing and you can benefit of the product you are buying so be it.
