I live half across the world with from Filipino family. They live in the Philippines and I am here in the U.S since 2006. Life without them can be difficult at times even though I have my own family here with me now. I can't help but to feel homesick sometimes. I am still missing home, I miss my family and friends all the time and I try to forget the fact that Philippines is my vacation country now.
During the first 3 years of being here in America, I used to call my family once a week through the use of International Calling prepaid minutes. That was a burden for my husband for he was the one to pay all the consumed minutes I made just to keep in touch with my family. Now I changed it, I would only call them once a month for an hour each time using magic jack. I do believe I get great deals on their service but I worry my subscription to them is ending and I don't know if my husband want to renew it.
To Make International Calls would be harder if I would switch other companies.. but if I do, I would make it sure to use a Low Cost International Calling in order to save money. Gladly I found pureminutes.com where I can get low cost in international calling through my mobile phone. Cool!
