A Vacation You Deserve

We just went outside and had our 15-minute stroll in this block. The sun is so bright, not a cloud in the sky, a bit windy and the temperature is just so right to the skin, in short our weather here today is very nice! This is what I like about Texas during Fall because the weather is absolutely gorgeous with all the chirping birds and quiet neighborhood makes it even more pleasant to live here.

While some states up North already shivering for cold temperatures, Texans just beginning to spend more time outdoor. If you are someone living up North, maybe you can over here, spend a week or two or probably go somewhere warmer and have that summer vacation you deserve.

Yes, I know summer is over but going to a place where there is plenty of sunshine and long sandy beaches would be great. Cape Cod would the perfect place. Once you've decided that you're really going there, that is the time to search for a Cape Cod rental so you don't have to worry where you stay when you get to your destination. With over 3,000 Cape Cod vacation rentals in all the most popular Cape and Island summer vacation destinations it should be easy for you to find that rental place best suits for your budget.

Someday I Will

I once asked by a cousin in my home country if I have ever been to New York and I told her, I haven't. She asked that question not knowing that it could cost me some money traveling anywhere in U.S for I have to pay for the airplane tickets, food and hotel accommodations. I replied her back, I have not been there and I dreamed of seeing the place myself one day especially the New York Times Square. That would only come true if I have a business to do or very important matter in that specific area that I really need to be physically present, if it is not important then why would I go there, right?

Even though NY Times Square sounds like an interesting place to go visit, I am holding on to really just set my dream aside because time will come that I am going to be able to wander around the whole place and stay in one of the hotels in times square probably? That will be exciting and a whole lot adventure for someone who will be visiting in Times Square for the first time in her life. For I know it is in Times Square where big parties or events often take place, a place where big celebrities hold their show etc.

Painting At SM City Cebu

These are the two closest girls in my life. Little sister Alex and my big Princess. These photos show their artist side. I brought them to the Let's Paint center at SM one time just so they can explore and realize their creativity. They enjoyed the activity so much while I was there waiting for them to finish at the same time taking a bunch of pictures of their busy hands. I plan of bringing them again next time with my little brother so he can experience how it is to paint, choosing his own color and let his imagine wander. It is such a great activity for little kids like them, I am sure.

Gigantic And Small Ferris Wheels

These are two different Ferris Wheel photos. One below I took in Opon Carnival. This one is not so sophisticated,  fast-moving and small Ferris Wheel. It operates only during night time and has colorful lights. While the second picture was taken in State Fair of Texas in Dallas fairground. You see the big difference between the two wheels. The one we have in Texas is newer with strong foundation, very slow-moving wheel, a huge one and more attractive to look at than what they have in Opon. Despite of the differences, kids love riding in a Ferris Wheel no matter what the size is.

Somewhere Warmer

Two consecutive weeks in Texas having a very nice weather. It feels like it's Spring already while the official Spring season starts this Saturday at 12:45 p.m. I watched the weather forecast at 6 pm by Pete Delkus and he was saying that there could be a chance of some snow late Saturday afternoon. I mean what? I thought we were over cold days already and why the snow forecast coming?

I am so ready for the Spring eh but why another cold front coming? How I wish I could go somewhere warmer and enjoy the beach and stay one of Outer Banks vacation rentals by Carolina Designs. It would be nice to experience being in the seawater once again for my body longs to be soaked in salty water eh. Wishful thinking me again here, so poor cannot afford to go somewhere I can have fun and relax at the same time.

Orlando vacay

There are just so many things you can do in a warm sunny state like Florida. I so dream of seeing the place myself and try to at least fulfill my dream Orlando vacation, visit the Disneyland or get plenty of sun in the beach. Anything that can be done in a warm weather will be good to me. I don't care what kind of activities we are going to do as long as I can escape from our house and see nice places will be an ultimate fulfillment of my desire to at least have a quick vacation... someday..somehow.. God will hear my wishes.

Orlando Vacation Homes

How cool it would be if me and my family will be able to escape the cold weather of Texas for a while. Going for a vacation in Orlando maybe would be so freaking cool to unwind and relax in one of the beaches over there as well as spending time with my family at Disneyland. I could perhaps jump off the bridge if that is going to happen. Sigh. Anyways, if you are bound to visit Orlando soon, please check out Orlando vacation homes. Rentals including condos, cottages and large, luxury villas presented here are privately owned and are rented out directly by their owner or the owner's agent. Choose 2-4 bed condos or rent a whole house with swimming pool at the back.

waiting for that very day

With temperatures getting so bad lately all I could think of is going to a place somewhere warmer than Texas. That very place is probably Florida but I have been hearing on the news that they could also get in the 20s sometimes but I think that isn't permanent though. I so long to be able to have orlando vacations in the future. When is that going to happen? Nobody knows when but as long as there is life, there is hope. Perhaps, my husband will bring me to Florida someday when he decides to visit his mother and dragging us along with him in the Sunshine state.

Eagle Creek luggage

I travel to the Philippines atleast every year or every other year to see my family that I left behind when I joined my husband here in the US. Philippines is on the other side of the world and so it takes me two days of flying in the air just to get there. Since I can't see them as often as I want to, all I could is bring them good stuff when I am able to travel and put them all in my luggage. And for that I do need one strong and reliable luggage like this Eagle Creek luggage that I have seen in www.luggagebase.com to hold all my stuff without busting the entire flight I am going to do in the next year. This one particular luggage is the absolute thing I need just because of its durability and good quality.

Countryside

I always thought nature's beauty is marvelous! It gives me peace of mind and let me think of things that are important in my life each time I see or when driving through the country like these in the pictures.

If ever my husband decides to retire in the country someday, I will just go with him eventhough I used to living in the city. Serenity and vast land is what he value the most so it will be good to live in a peaceful environment someday where nothing else matters but our family and enjoying the trees and the green grass!
.......... these are the photos that I took on our way home to Fort Worth from visiting my FIL in San Antonio last weekend.

Back Home

We arrived from our visit to my FIL's place in San Antonio two hours ago and feeling so tired and bit dizzy. On our way back home it took us 5 hours drive and so tired. 'twas so hot yet I enjoyed the view along the road. While at SA, my husband made it sure that he can join his father during breakfast which is too early for him to be getting up by 7:30-8:00 in the morning. I couldn't join him, too lazy to do that ehhermm..

Yesterday which was our second day, we managed to spent family time together in River walk. Famous for it's history and fine dining along the river that stretches miles and miles long. We rode a boat although we've been there for two times already but it was our first time to hop in the boat and take a tour. Photos are proof below!

Samsonite luggage, I am using one

I can only hope to have a safety and comfortable travel with my baby. It's only me and her so cross fingers for that. I don't bring much heavy stuff in my carry-on as I don't want to be heavily burden while at the security check. I am using a carry-on spinner Samsonite luggage. This way it is smooth to pull while in my other hand is pushing the baby to get to the airplane.

I Got My Itinerary

So finally I got a fix schedule of my travel to the Philippines in January. I'm not telling the exact date though as to when we're gonna fly because I want to surprise my friends who are waiting for me over there. I am so excited now, really! Guess, I may have to call my family about the date so they will know it and that they can pick me up in the airport and see the baby.

We got this very flexible schedule from our filipino travel agent. I should say she is the best in finding ways to travel with less stopver. Normally, from DFW to Cebu would make us 3 stopover. One in LAX-CA, then from there to HK or Korea, KR to Manila then to Cebu. But this trip of ours, since only me and the baby are gonna travel first, she made it to 2 stopover only. And the price of the tickets? It's the usual price you get from online booking or less, $1400 plus taxes inclusive and the baby's fare will be 10% of that.

Our trip will be from DFW directly to Incheon International Airport in Korea and from there to Cebu. Though there is a 6-hour waiting at that airport but it doesn't bother me because I have a baby and she will probably entertain her own mother during the long period of waiting. Yeyyy! Philippines here I come!

Before And After Baby

Hiko,Texas is a small town about 2 hours away from where we live. We discovered this little family restaurant through a family friend who is a truck driver and told us that Koffe Kup restaurant is best to stop by for dining and is known for their 12 different flavors of homemade pie.

We've been there twice already. First time was when I was only 4 months preggy of my daughter Baden. Second just recently when we visit my father-in-law in San Antonio.

... this is the first photo of me in a dress.. 4 months preggy taken last October 2,2007.
.. the photos below are recent pics of me and the baby. If you notice, I am holding my trophy here now and weeewww nice to be back to that restaurant for a quick meal.

Tired From the Long Trip

We just got here at AFV Lackland in San Antonio to visit my father-in-law moments ago and oh so feeling dizzy and tired. It was a long drive for us since we took the country road instead of using the speedy highway. It's nice for a change of view. Woody roads, quiet and no traffic, that is what I like.

We were still on the road at 7 pm and so dark already! My baby really itching to get out of the outgrown carseat of hers for she is tired for sure but I can't help her instead, entertained her, make a lot of crazy sounds but she really was bored. She cried and cried for couple of minutes and wouldn't stop even if I gave her milk.

I ignored her for I lost for words to say and then she stopped. Again, she was able to gain her composure and started talking baby words and sounded happy! Thanks goodness, I really thought she was so serious of crying for she never cried while in a trip.

So that is all for tonight my bloggy. I need to rest now because I'm so dead tired here.
