Highlight Of My Life During The Year 2011

I am very thankful to God for another year to celebrate life and continue living with appreciation of things big and small that are coming our way. The year 2011 has been great for us. There were some really sky high happiness and real down low moments that forever changed our lives, especially to my life. Let me highlight those big events happened to us/me last year.

1. I got pregnant (conceiving a child is indeed a great blessing for I have prayed for a second child and God heard my heart's desire).

2. Was able to travel to the Philippines (twice, but the second trip was a bittersweet one for all of us, well tell you later on).

3. March-October '11, those were some pretty depressing months for both of me and my husband due to some real financial crisis.

4. Met my pretty good friends in person.
5. I gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl M.

6. We added our birthdays another year older, thank God to that...

7. We celebrated 7 yrs. of healthy marriage...that is also when...

8. My father Elson passed away in October 16,2011 due to high blood pressure. That was the darkest day of my life because I did not lose just a random person in my life but MY FATHER! It hurts a lot, I tell you!

9. Blessed with ample amount of money that enabled us to pay off our house, paid some debts, fixed our fence, remodeled our kitchen and (hopefully put a new roof on).

10. Family is intact on Christmas day.

11. And lastly, we were all healthy, safe and have plenty of foods all the time to feed our stomach!

I cannot thank enough to the Lord above for the continuous blessing He poured us, one thing is for sure that I am content and happy I have Him in my life and that He gave me things that satisfy me! THANK YOU LORD FOR A WONDERFUL 2011. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE YEAR 2012. WISHING FOR SUCCESS, WORLD PEACE, FREE FROM SINS, ACCIDENTS, NATURAL CALAMITIES, SICKNESS AND DEATH!

Plans For Christmas

Yeheyy! I am happy about what my husband told me last night. He said that he has a week off after Christmas. That means we can go down somewhere and visit someone and perhaps go to Seaworld with the kiddos. I made plans for Christmas already. I already committed to two parties just for the next 2 weeks and that is scheduled and nobody should ruin that.

I told my husband, he does have at least 5 days to make his trip to San Antonio but not on the dates the parties are gonna happen. Also, on Christmas eve and Christmas day, I want us to be at home so Jadyn can open her presents on the exact Christmas day and also so we can all go to church together.

I would want to make it a tradition that we should be in our "home" during Christmas so kids will always remember that family should be home opening presents and be thankful for the blessings that God poured us the entire year. Someday when they grow up, away from home for college or have their respective family, they all gonna come home at Christmas!

Bought A Big Christmas Tree

I bought a 7 ft. Christmas tree last weekend. I kept bugging my husband about buying a new one because I think it is the right time to change the height of the tree since our family is growing. I somehow feel the need to change it and I am glad I did. I just wait for Thanksgiving to be over and I will start working on the Christmas (putting up decors and such) with my first born.

At first, I was not going to put up our Christmas tree this year but hey wait a minute, we have a second baby now and this is going to be her first Christmas ever! Might as well make the birth of Christ memorable for her and our big girl. I shall see if I have enough gold ball or round ornaments for our big Christmas tree, if there aren't enough then I might have to put up all our ornaments just so our tree will look happier.

As you all know we just celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary yesterday, October 16. We didn't go out last night instead we had Mike- husband's close buddy came over to join us for cook out. While the husband started the coals outside, me and Mike got to sit down and watched our wedding video on t.v. Seeing those young familiar faces of the people dear to me makes me wanna go home right away.

So that was how we celebrated our anniversary. Today, my husband took us out to dinner as post anniversary celebration. He treat me to have some crabs which I like hehehe...here's few of the photos we took...

P.S To those friends and people who greeted us and wished us for more years of our marriage...thank you so much guys. I thank the Lord most of all for He blessed us with fruitful, blissful and wonderful marriage. I am so happy we are strong and in love with other.... I still feel that butterflies in the stomach everytime I look at my husband and still find him so attractive. Looking forward for more years of togetherness, love, one more kid and most of all more patience and understanding for us! Cheeersss!!

27 Years Old Now!!

Thank you so much oh my Lord for giving me another year of my life to live and see my wonderful family growing. This I owe You my good Creator! I cannot fathom how deep your love for me and to your people nor do I describe your wondrous gift you have given to me and to each one of us on Earth! I sincerely giving You my praise oh Lord for you are so good to me all year-round.

Another year old for me to celebrate life and yes, I love it although I will be three years far before I am out of the calendar, but the heck I care about it. I am settled down and I have a family of my own, so why worry anyway? Lolz. I wish I could offer or light a candle to the Heaven's above as my way of showing how blessed and thankful I am to be this old.

St.Patrick's Day Is Today

Saint Patrick's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Pádraig) is a yearly holiday celebrated on 17 March. It is named after Saint Patrick (circa AD 387–461), the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland. It began as a purely Catholic holiday and became an official feast day in the early 1600s. However, it has gradually become more of a secular celebration of Ireland's culture.

It is a public holiday on the island of Ireland (both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) and widely celebrated by the Irish diaspora in places such as Great Britain, Canada, the United States, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and Montserrat.

before the big day approaches

..be sure to inform all the important people in your life about your upcoming wedding by sending them wedding invitations that you have chosen. It is the most common way often used by people to spread the big news that is going to change their lives forever, their wedding day. On the internet there are tons of wedding invitation designs to choose from, it is really up to you whether you go for a simple yet elegant designs but cheaper in price or if you choose to have a flashy one which will perhaps cost you a little bit more.

Upcoming Birthday

My little girl will soon be celebrating her 2nd birthday on the 16th of this month. That will be a week from now. My friend and I were planning of having a birthday party at her house and will just invite some of our common friends who have kids to make it alive but there is a sudden change of plan.

I chose to call it quit not because I don't want to but because I won't be able to enjoy as much as they do in my Jadyn's birthday. Three days before that, I am scheduled to have my braces adjusted and as expected it's gonna be like hell for me. Awfully sore is my mouth gonna be and will be having hard time chewing on food, can't even talk when it happens.

However, I just plan of simple celebration for my girl, "inato lang" in our native language. I'll just buy her a big piece of cupcake and put a number 2 candle in it so she can blow her cake for remembrance. Would probably be cooking some bam-e for longer life.

Unlike her first birthday (was a big birthday party held in the Philippines) this time it's just gonna be the three of us and a solemn celebration.

happy new year 2010 Pictures, Images and Photos

Looking back the year 2009 I certainly say it was an awesome one. I was able to fulfill all my goals for that year. Everything fell into places as planned and that thought alone makes me very thankful for the Lord above. Realizing the graces He bestowed us makes me feel loved and fortunate. A loving husband, beautiful and healthy child, nice family and friends around and a healthy marriage is what I got. I may not have all the things I want but at least I have everything I need and that's what matters to me.

Although we've kind of having rough times financially at the end of this year but we are still blessed and doing good. Surviving, ika nga lolz! Oh one major thing that took place this year is that we were able to have our house back and it happened in our 5th anniversary, isn't that the greatest??

Filipino Christmas Party 2009

My family and friend Rose attended the Filipino Christmas party for 2009 held in Lewisville at Myra's house yesterday. We all had a lot of fun together seeing a lot of filipinas at the party. As usual, when there is a party foods of various kind were present as if it was a war of food for there were really plenty of it like fried milkfish, pork bbq (Filipino style), monggos soup, shrimp sinigang, bihon, chicken adobo, tuna kinilaw, tortang talong, egg roll, fajitas and a whole lot more. Even the desserts were flooding on the counter top weewwwwwww. I couldn't stop myself from loving the food only I didn't have ample room in my stomach yesterday. If only I could eat all of the foods so I don't have to keep thinking about it until now.

The girls who attended the party were mostly from DFW area and I knew most of them as I met them before a couple times over. My Jadyn was able to meet the fil-am kids too so do my friends for the first time. We took a group picture before we left at the party as a remembrance for this year's Christmas celebration with them. Here I share with you guys our few shots. Enjoy.

Our Tiny Christmas Tree IS Up

After debating myself for one week whether to put up our little Christmas tree or not, I came up with the result of putting it up for if I won't, it is going to be our second Christmas this year without our Christmas tree. I feel empty inside not having the sparkling lights and decorated Christmas tree inside the house. I am also jealous with the neighbors who already hang their lights outside their house and ours is so empty, dark and boring.

On a lighter note, this year is going to be my 4th Christmas here in the US and for that I am thankful for another year that God has given me to celebrate it with my family. Although American celebration of Christmas is solemn but I am still thankful for I'm with my husband and very own kid, Deden.

P.S Attached photos are of our cute Christmas tree with my Jadyn taken from my mobile phone, shots are blurry that's why. Digital camera is very dead still...

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary!

Today marks our 5th blissful wedding anniversary US time(we were married in the Philippines and so yesterday was the original date of our wedding for America is 13 hours behind). Thank you Lord for another year being in healthy marriage. I can say for certain ours is healthy for we have the most number of happy days than sadness and fighting. Most of the time we compromise and understand and respect each other and most of all our love has grown stronger throughout the years we're together! Ah this is another big achievement we have.

Our celebration yesterday was just so simple. We were busy driving the whole day and so we only did go to a seafood restaurant and had a fine dinner there. In the middle of our dinner, my husband went out to the car, when he came back he brought me a box with a new phone inside.

I thought it was a sweet surprise because I only expected an ordinary cheaper phone but no, he handed me this blue 3g phone from Samsung which I so love!! He never ceased to surprise me especially during special occasions! The best talaga banana ko! hehehe sipsip!

Lord, I thank you for the very good husband I have. He is still the same person I met five years ago I should say. May You Bless us with more happy days and years in our marriage as well as shower us with more blessings and love!
