Child Trafficking Awareness

There are so many good and bad things going on out there. Bad things happen created by bad people, one example is the child trafficking. I am so glad that there are organizations or group of people out there care so much of problems in the society like Triangle Direct teamed up with the non-profit organization to help increase their organic search engine rankings in an effort to spread SCTNow's message to combat the modern-day slavery practice of child trafficking, this according to the online article I just read moments ago. Overjoyed/Overwhelmed by The News!

I have known my brother's plan about him applying in a cruise line as a chef. In fact, he took some classes necessary as one of the requirements asked by the agency he was applying to ( he was really shedding sweat to complete all what is asked from him in order to get himself in to the cruise line). He had his medical and interview at the US embassy last December and told me that he passed it.

When I chatted with him last night he just said that he is bound to fly in Miami, Florida this Thursday (Philippine time), that doesn't surprise me at all since we've been talking about this long before. But then when I opened my friendster this morning, I read his bulletin about him now having a 5-YEAR US VISA, that thought alone is surprisingly overwhelming. How nice is that? He had gone this far in his own paningkamot. I was in disbelief knowing that my own family following my footstep looking for his own fate in foreign land. (Well, I have a cousin too who's in America but hmmppp padaku man siya ulo so she's an exception, proud unta pud ko niya ug wala lang siya ni lubad.)

I couldn't be more prouder of my brother knowing that acquiring a US visa isn't easy. Way to go Bro. Good luck in your endeavor and may you always keep your feet on the ground. You can stay with us if you want once your contract is over and continue working in American soil. For now, I need to take a deep BREATH as this news is too much for me. You really put me in comatose mode bro!
