I cast my vote for gubernatorial candidate yesterday! Yippppppeyy! Such an experience to have voted for someone who I think could greatly do something in the whole state of Texas. I will not disclose though who my vote went for because it's a secret and I don't want to talk any kind of politics here in my blogs. It's a sensitive topic and I don't want to involve myself in a thing that I can't debate. I am not just good at it.
Anyway, it was my very first vote in the United States of America. I am somewhat proud of that for I did what I have to do as a citizen in this country. The voting session lasted only a minute. Since I am a newbie I had to read the instructions first to make sure that I could operate their little voting machine or booth. One minute is longer, the process just normally takes at least ten seconds for people who have used the booth for several times.
I could tell the big difference the way the voting is done here than in the Philippines. Such a troublesome to do it in my home country and it takes hours and hours of falling in line or just to get the voting done before you could get out of the designated precinct.
