Update Your Look Before you Update Your Resume

I still remember this one significant t.v commercial before when I was growing up. I remember vividly each time this t.v ad will show, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, the popular line was "First impressions last!". For me it is correct. First time I can meet a person, if I find him to have good personality as I first predicted then it will be true which often happen to me.

Now, hiring someone for a specific job. If I were to hire somebody, I would prefer to hire someone who is neat, well-groomed, clean cut and most of all intelligent. And why not? Who would want to work with people who don't know how to tidy up himself?

If you seek for a job the first thing to do is to make sure you will make a good impression on your prospect boss. Recent survey of more than 500 HR professionals - commissioned by Gillette(R) [PG] and conducted by Harris Interactive(R) shows that it is the well-groomed employees of 84% climb the corporate ladder faster than those who are not well-groomed.

Watch out for this guys. If you want to get decent jobs then you might want to start preparing your physical looks first before anything else. You may find out some helpful information at Gillette Career Advantage or
