Well, if I was in the Philippines, it would be a big celebration for me and the family or friends. You know Filipino tradition, always there's food prepared on the table for Noche Buena, firecrackers/ fireworks and making a lot of noise when the clock hit 12 midnight.
Here in America, I feel so lonely thinking of those things that are happening back home. What did we do at midnight last night? Well, I watched the tv presentation for the New Year in FOX for a while then minutes later my husband followed me there. As soon as we hit the twelve midnight, we hugged and we kissed each other and greet HAPPY NEW YEAR.
After the short kissing, we watched "In Bruges" movie that he rented two nights ago and slept quarter to one. That is how we did it. I don't know if there's any plan of going out today since he is off work. We shall see what we can do later
LASTLY, I WANT TO GREET EVERYONE WHO PASS BY IN THIS BLOG A BLISSFUL NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE!

I also posted the same feelings you have. Mingaw kaayo diri, walay lingaw ning mga Amerkano uy pag NYear. Nagtan-aw ra pud mi ug TV. SA ato, saba kaayo. Holidays in our country are more festive and noisier . This is what I hate about in America.
